King of Hungarian vineyards, Mount Tokaj, located in the north of the country, is a mythical place that produces exceptional wines; wines that were even served at the court of King Louis XIV, who called them "King of wines and wine of Kings".
South of Tokaj, is the Tokaj-Hétszőlő estate, created by the Garai family by selecting the 7 best plots of land in the region, hence the name Hét Szolo which means "7 plots of vines" in Hungarian.
The Domaine's plots were classified Tokaj Premier Grand Cru in 1772, a distinction that pays tribute to the unique characteristics of an exceptional terroir. It is a noble, elegant and complex wine whose sweetness is nicely offset by a beautiful acidity. The dominant aromas are reminiscent of dried apricots, honey, vanilla.
