The wines of the Vouvray appellation, made only from Chenin Blanc, are distinguished by their golden and shiny color. This superb Moncontour cuvée is no exception and has a magnificent golden color. On the palate, this wine is very successful with a very nice acidity and notes of apple and lemon. The bubbles are fine and very pleasant.
The Château Moncontour vineyard is one of the oldest in the Loire Valley. It belonged to the archdiocese of Tours at the time of Saint Martin and has always aroused passions. The estate was acquired in 1994 by the Feray family who, with passion and commitment, knew how to preserve and embellish this castle to make it one of the remarkable historical sites of the Loire Valley.
