Domaine de Chevalier 2020
The Domaine de Chevalier, Grand Cru Classé de Graves since 1953, extends over 38 hectares in the heart of the forest of Pessac-Léognan, in the west of the appellation. It is thanks to a selective approach and a very unique terroir that Domaine de Chevalier is recognized for its ability to regularly produce great wines, even in difficult years. This philosophy is first expressed in the drastic selection of the harvest, which sometimes leads the estate to operate five successive selections during the harvest, according to the evolution of maturity! The 2020 vintage has ubiquitous tannins, high class, delicate and peaty flavor. The fruit is intense. Power, balance, maturity, concentration, length, freshness, tension. Everything is there for a great vintage that should age beautifully.
