By acquiring Château Rollan de By in 1989, Jean Guyon realized a dream of an aesthete as much as an epicurean: owning a vineyard in the Médoc to make a great wine. Initially, a cabin in the middle of 2 hectares of vines in the north of the Médoc and on arrival a successful bet with a castle - one of the most famous - with 87 hectares of clay gravel. Today, Château Rollan de By is one of the greatest ambassadors of French wines that are enjoyed with pleasure all over the world. This wine is the expression of osmosis between a man and his terroir, a dream come true.
