La Foret Blanche Dvir Cabernet Shiraz Merlot 2018
La Forêt Blanche Dvir Blend is made of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon and 33% Shiraz, both from the Sde Kalev vineyards, located between the central montains and the Judean desert, and 22% merlot. The wine is aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels.
The wine was aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels and bottled without filtration. The wine has a bright red, burgundy color, with dark forest fruit aromas of cherry and blackberry, with black pepper notes.
Upon aerating in the glass, tobacco and smoky flavors develop. The wine is smooth and superb, and while it is ready to drink, it will mature further over the next few years.
Dvir – Red Blend 2019 is a made of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon and 33% Shiraz, all from a single vineyard, rounded off with 22% Merlot. The Sde Kalev Vineyard is located between the high central mountains and the Judean desert at an altitude of 900 meters.
