Chateau Roubine 2023 Cuvée Premium

The Premium cuvée from Chateau Roubine is a great rosé that illustrates the complexity of the blend and the diversity of the 7 Provençal grape varieties that go into its production: Cinsault, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon and in small percentages Carignan, Tibouren, Syrah and Mourvèdre.
Thanks to the night harvest, this cuvée benefits from a pellicular maceration at low temperature for a few hours. The grape varieties are vinified separately. The temperature is maintained at 17°, 18°, after static settling. Malolactic fermentation is blocked. After filtration, blending takes place followed by bottling.
This very typical rosé from Provence will be appreciated both as an aperitif and with summer or exotic cuisine.

About the domain
Located in the heart of the Var, between Lorgues and Draguignan, the terroir forms a circus lined with pines and oaks on clay-limestone soil.
The vineyard, spread over 72 hectares in one piece, benefits from privileged conditions for the production of wines of excellence: a great diversity of grape varieties, a strong environmental approach, the alliance of great skills, and a soil with natural drainage with the river "La Florieye" which flows at the property limit. “Roubine” means stream in Provençal.
In 1955, Château Roubine was one of 23 wine estates recognized by decree as a "Cru Classé" of the Côtes de Provence.
