Created by Jean Ricard in 1865, the Domaine de Chevalier extends over 67 hectares in the heart of the Pessac-Léognan forest, including 7 hectares of white wines. Producing exceptional wines in both red and white, the estate was crowned Grand Cru Classé of Graves in 1953. Taken over by Olivier Bernard in 1983, Domaine de Chevalier has spread its reputation throughout the world.
The Esprit de Chevalier Blanc, introduced for the first time in 1989, is made from grapes from young vines, and the scrupulous selection of barrels allows the production of a second rich, lively and complex wine, with very pure and specific aromas, which can be enjoyed young.
The Esprit de Chevalier blanc also has a fruity and distinguished character, more open and more approachable than the Grand Vin.
