This original blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Gewurztraminer, born on the heights of the Judean Hills, immediately seduces with its aromatic bouquet mixing exotic fruits, citrus, and a floral touch.
Its vibrancy and balance make it the king of aperitifs, but it will shine just as well with a sea bream ceviche, a warm goat cheese salad, or varied sushi.
This is a wine of thirst and immediate pleasure. To enjoy its pep and freshness, serve it well chilled, between 8°C and 10°C.
While Domaine du Castel is world-renowned for its great age-worthy wines, the "La Vie" range reveals the Ben Zaken family's expertise in a more accessible and laid-back register. Designed to celebrate simple pleasures, this 2021 white benefits from the same exceptional terroir of the High Judean Hills that made the house famous.
This vintage is Certified Kosher for Passover . Unlike the great oaked cuvées, this wine is vinified mainly in tanks to preserve the pure radiance of the fruit and the minerality of the terroir, without makeup.
In the glass, its pale yellow robe with golden reflections sets the tone: it is a sunny yet fresh wine. The nose is expressive, where lychee (brought by the Gewurztraminer) rubs shoulders with grapefruit and white peach. On the palate, the attack is frank and quenching, offering a beautiful roundness that never saturates the palate. An indispensable "sure bet" for your cellar.
